Limitless

This one stars Bradly Cooper as a down on his luck writer who discovers a strange pill. The pill enhances the user's intellectual aspects and allows them to practically learn anything in a short amount of time or think their way through virtually any problem. While this film utilized the often overused storyline of the protagonist going from rock bottom to total prosperity, I was very impressed with the use of the main character's first person narrative. Director Neil Burger's animated scene changes and flashbacks also effectively told the story in a more entertaining fashion. The main character's journey of fortunes and pitfalls will win the hearts of action and drama fans alike. Grade B+
