Matt Damon and Emily Blunt star in this intriguing mystery thriller. Their characters meet by chance and subsequently become infatuated with each other (no surprise there). However, when the two happen to see each other again, Damon's character learns not only that fate was supposed to keep them apart, but a mysterious group known as "The Adjustment Bureau" is relentless in their pursuit to enforce this. My interest in secret societies and conspiracy theories as well as the similar subject matter of what I thought was the best film of 2010, Inception initially attracted me to this movie. While this film was somewhat thought provoking, it lacked any true depth and played out as a cliched love story. Grade C+
